About the Course

Learn the fundamentals of Java, one of the most relevant and long-standing programming languages in the world. Java has dozens of uses, from game development to business apps. No matter where you are in your coding journey just starting out, preparing a college resume, or prepping for the AP Computer Science exam, you'll hone your Java skills with programming challenges.

Topics covered

Code projects in Java. Use arrays, loops, and if statements. Identify variables, data types, classes, and constructors and more.

Lesson Delivery Format

Online private lessons that includes 1, 4, 8, or 12 lessons per month. Each lesson is one hour and led by an experienced, Ireland-based instructor, with age-appropriate curriculum. Sessions are held online via Zoom.

Here's a sample of what a week in this course could look like. Keep in mind students will progress at varying paces, and this is meant to serve as an outline of key materials and the overall experience.

Week 1

Students will explore Java fundamentals through an introduction to variables, operators, conditional statements, loops, and random numbers.

Week 2

Building on their knowledge, students will delve deeper into Java programming by creating logic-based applications using object-oriented concepts
